This policy applies to massimorigotti.com, the personal site of Massimo Rigotti, operated by Rigotti Press, Inc., 5100 Van Dorn St, Unit 6745, Lincoln, NE 68506, US.

The S.O.B.E.R. Method practice, community, payments, newsletters, and related services live on sobermethod.com and sister sites. Those properties have their own privacy policy. If you book a discovery call, join a list, or buy a product there, that policy governs that activity.

What this site collects

massimorigotti.com is a brochure site. It does not require an account.

If you use the Stay Connected form, we collect the email address you submit so we can send 2 to 4 S.O.B.E.R. Method messages a month. That address is stored in the same subscriber list used by digitalsobriety.org and yourfutureissober.com, and is also sent to our email tool so we can deliver the messages. You can unsubscribe at any time from a link in those emails.

If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, topic, optional organization, and message you submit, along with technical details the server needs to receive the message (such as the time of submission and IP address used for spam filtering). Contact-form senders are not added to the newsletter list.

The form is for speaking, press, book questions, podcast bookings, and general correspondence. It is not the channel for confidential recovery support. Those inquiries should go through the private discovery call on sobermethod.com.

How that information is used

Contact-form submissions are emailed so Massimo can reply. We do not sell this information. We retain those messages as long as needed to complete the correspondence and to keep a record of speaking and press requests. Stay Connected signups are used only to send the S.O.B.E.R. Method messages described above.

Spam filtering

The contact form uses hidden honeypot fields, a minimum fill-time check, and basic content checks to reject automated spam. Those checks may record the submitting IP address in server logs.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). Google may set cookies or use similar identifiers to provide that measurement. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. We do not use analytics data to sell advertising. Links to Amazon, Apple Books, PodMatch, YouTube, and other third-party sites are ordinary links. Those sites have their own policies.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your rights

To access, correct, or delete information you submitted through the contact form, use the contact form and choose General.

Changes

We may update this policy as needed. The date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
